Check in officially begins at 2 pm. However, you can always get there early and pick up your camp tag from 8am-2pm. You can go to the day use area in the park, or any other State Park in the area until your spot becomes vacant. Also, check out for the other campers is at noon, some people leave early some don't. Ask the kiosk worker if the campcheck shows a camper when checking In and they can give a definite answer.

24/7 they have a electronic kiosk , BUT they lock the gate at 10 pm n unlock it at 6 am , you can call n they will give you the combination , don't forget to ask for it when you check-in hpedays
