The Salsa hardtails are a very good value for a trail worthy mountain bike under $2k. Supply at that price point of all brands is becoming very limited everywhere because of increased demand. Guys at the shop are super knowledgeable and trustworthy. Stop by and ask and they can help you figure it out. They've been getting slammed by demand recently though so stock may be limited but that's the case across the region.
Ask them about a salsa hardtail, you get your money's worth and it's an awesome bike to ride with upgradable specs. I highly recommend this bike
