Where and when are food banks

I volunteer at the Greater Boston Food Bank; it's a warehouse from which bulk shipments of donated food are shipped, mostly by the truckload, to neighborhood agencies that distribute it to people in need. I suggest you contact a social-service agency in your town for information on what's available locally.
