They do so much for so many hungry families. Its amazing how big the building is as well and they keep it packed with FRESH food to donate to your local community Churches and Smaller food banks I would imagine. If anyone needs any Information or would like to Donate FOOD OR MONEY just call them and you will be in great hands. 🙏🇺🇸 God Bless everyone and HAPPY BELATED EASTER! (Yesterday)

Was late to deliver because I blew a radiator plug. Been here 22 hrs now.. won’t answer the door. My daughter flies in back in Michigan tomorrow so because of any rules or regulations I will not b home.. wonder why drivers stop being drivers is because of facilities like these. A partial load and they only care about their facility.. still have to go to Lowell if they don’t close at noon

I volunteer at the Greater Boston Food Bank; it's a warehouse from which bulk shipments of donated food are shipped, mostly by the truckload, to neighborhood agencies that distribute it to people in need. I suggest you contact a social-service agency in your town for information on what's available locally.
No, the Food Bank is a central distribution center. It sends food to local food pantries. So check for one of those in your area. (And good luck!)
Virtually every town had one or more free pantries. Call your city hall and ask about food assistance. I bet they'll help right away.
Hello! You may send your donation to: The Greater Boston Food Bank, 70 South Bay Ave., Boston, MA 02118.
I'm not entirely sure. My recommendation would be to ask a church or go to your local town hall.
Yes I am looking for a hotel close to the Boston food bank
I'm cut out of Boston food bank run because I work for a living.LOL
The Greater Boston Food Bank mainly handles industrial truckload quantities of food that go out to neighborhood kitchens, pantries, and churches. For a small food donation, your best bet is to go directly to a kitchen or pantry in your immediate neighborhood, such as at a nearby church.
The best address to send donations to is indeed the post office box indicated by Dawn. The street address is also correct-- except for the zip, which is 02119. Thanks for wanting to donate. This is a great organization which will do wonderful things with your dollars.
I have never heard of them going to pick up food. usually people deliver their food to them and they disperse it from their location
Yes, it is a certified 501c3.
If you want to assist members of your church, the most direct route would be to talk to the pastor, minister, or elder. If your church has a feeding program they'll know and can get you connected.
The Greater Boston food bank is not a food pantry. It does not provide food directly to the public. Check with your local agencies to find the food pantry closest to you. Good luck!
The greater Boston food bank is a central warehouse; it serves agencies that distribute food to the public. It does not directly serve individuals. But no one needs to be hungry--- Your local city hall or church can help you get free and low cost food from the agencies that serve the public.
Yes there if you go to the website and click on the career link they have a list of positions available
I am not an employee of the Greater Boston Food Bank, but I would suggest that if you are in Revere you start with Mystic Valley Elder Services, which works to help seniors find the resources they need. Their website is www mves. org. Their phone number is 781-324- 7705. Good luck!
