I'm planning a bike camping trip and was wondering, Is it possible to bicycle from Pless Place Camp, east toward the Van Fleet rail trail? Google Maps implies it is (hitting the Van Fleet at 28°31'32.4"N 81°57'12.0"W) but you know how Maps can be!

Yes but you will have to cross hwy 471 and ride a total of about 10 miles to get to the trail. You will need a all terrain bike. Lots of sand. If you go out pless place camp go south on South Carter Rd and cross 471 it turns into North loop. Continue on to center grade ( a 4 way intersection) go left. Continue another 5 miles on center grade to a 3 way intersection and turn right. You will go right to it. Myfwc.com/brochures you will find the map for richloam.
