Nice place to get some rest,shower, focus on the next adventure and more. The water in the shower is heated but if you get some before it's used by others and none is left such as then you can shower although it will be cold water. The water has some color in it so it does not look so delicious to drink kind of think and I don't recommend drinking it. There was water at the site to that we were at. It does cost more than I would prefer for such a site. It cost like $22. I've been to places that have bathrooms,bring you fire wood, picnic tables, fire rings and don't charge anything which is nice. I really enjoyed it here in some ways for sure and I do appreciate the kindness of the individual on the phone who directed me to how to get a reservation. So thanks for being so helpful how you could.

Absolutely one of those many places in Florida thats a short drive into pure heaven. Great campsites. Book online only- no more pull up reservatios like in the past. This lil gem sits on the Withlacoochee River. Great fishing, boating, swimming, wildlife viewing and camping. Bathroom/showers do need updating. I've come many times and truely love this spot so we try over looking the defaults of the bath and showers. I will always return here!!

I live right next to it and such a peaceful place. On the weekends you might have to reserve a camp spot early to get a place. There are only a few right on the Little Withlacocchee river.
