Captain Jacks. An adventure from start to finish. We entered the building and were greeted and told there would be a half hour wait and we could wait in the lounge. Sounded odd but we waited in a nice seated area to the left of the entrance booth and listened to live music played by a older gentleman who was using the piano as well as the harmonica and singing. He was very talented and they took our drink and appetizer orders in there. The half hour sped by very fast and they escorted us to our table in almost a celebrity like way, employees stopping to let you pass and greeting you. We were seated at a small two person candle lit table with live flowers in a vase where we ordered the two servings of king crab. No prices listed or discussed so I was a bit worried. But the crab was so insanely good, as were the salads, the quesadilla and the bread, the cost stress disappeared. It came out to 280$. I was expecting more honestly but it was worth every penny. Insanely amazing service, food and entertainment. I will be coming back and every time I’m coming with new family and friends so they can experience it too.

I love Captain Jacks! They were amazing 👏 best service and staff always the best. The food is #1 Prime Rib and Crab no place like it. We had 4 ladies and shared 2 plates plus Great App Stuffed Mushrooms & Artichokes. This was #1 on my list post Covid & they brought all 4 if us Birthday 🎂 cheesecake!

Bunny was amazing and really the best part of the night. The crab was good and so were the steaks but if I spend 150 a person for dinner, I expect it to be better than good. Crab legs were nice sized and cracked all the way down for easy eating. The steak and prime rib lacked flavor. The meat was tender and cooked to order but lacked the pizazz we expected from a "world famous" cut of meat. The vibe upstairs by the bar, with the piano playing, was fun and had a upbeat feel but that didn't carry through to the lower dining area. People eating around us even commented that they wished the piano could be heard down there instead of the outdated playlist coming through the speakers. Thank you Bunny for starting our night right and to all of the Jack's crew for your for friendly and professional.

Friendly, local, unpretentious seafood and prime rib paradise. Thursday night is free corkage saving you $25 a bottle. Reasonably priced with mega portions. King Crab legs are the reason to keep going back.

Yes they are still open.
Parking is even more of a challenge right now due to adjacent construction but do-able. Usually enough space to drop off any other occupants of the vehicle near the entrance so the driver can circle the block a time or two. Worth the minor hassle!
The message on their answering machine says they're closed, but are they?...
Their salads and drinks are great too. But by all means try the crab legs.
Yes and it would be a great gift!no stores. Go to Sunset Beach and buy
Big huge king crab legs not a small portion huge portion can't even finish it..... Always top quality
Yes, Amy. Dining in the restaurant is an available option.
Not yet..... They have a awesome outside set up- but OC is lifting most restrictions...
forget it, it rings off the hook. no one seems to want to answer the phone.
Yes they have gift certificates. You can go in person or you can purchase over the phone and the will mail it to you.
Everything has gone up. Transportation cost (diesel) has tripled and that has a lot to do with price increase. My legs were filled with crab meat and delicious! Last visit was 7/10/22
Difficult to get through on the phone. Wish they had a reservation service like Open Table
Yes they have old school had written gift certificates. But they work just fine

Yes you can
No... I wore what I wear back home on Maui, shorts, shirt and rubber slippers AKA for you Mainland people flip flops. Just make sure you can unbutton your pants if you decide to get the double bone-in prime rib.
I think they are still closed for covid-19
They are serving inside with distancing.......50% occupancy. We had a party of six there two weeks ago with no issues.
Captain Jacks is currently closed. Also they do not offer to go orders.
Captain Jacks is currently closed. They also do not provide outdoor dinning or takeout. They are one of my most favorite restaurant's. Great food in a wonderful environment!!
It's always whatever market value is. You get 1 1/2 pounds of crab legs (sometimes a little more) My girl gets it every year on our anniversary and if I remember correctly it's around 60.00. i get prime rib and crab about 65.00. All told with drinks, appetizer, dinner and tip for two it runs about 180.00
Call after 3:00
I think you're thinking of Sea Legs on the beach. At Bola Chika. Beer wine food and music on weekends. Reggae sundays
Really can't say but worth a call. Lovely spot.
They literally get packed right on open, till close. You have to call a few hours before open to get a reservation. Maybe 20 tables at a time ? Their prime rib is the best I have had.
Casual
We always call ahead to let them know we are coming.
Yes you can bring your own bottle of wine. There is a corkage fee, though.
