I think five gallons is their limit
There are limits, yes. I had several boxes of shampoo, they made me drive to the center in Huntington Beach to load balance the dropoff as they wouldn't take all of them. So I assume just like they had a limit for shampoo, they would for paint. However, that limit may be OK for a normal household unless you're dropping off hundreds of cans. Call them to confirm.
