Called and spoke to Jasmine and she was very helpful! Had just left another local plastics supplier annoyed with the help and quote they had just given me. She was MUCH nicer to deal with, and gave me a MUCH better price and a less than 2 day turnaround compared to 2 weeks from the other guys...Looks like IPS will be my new go to for all my plastic related projects!

I am used to getting ignored or receiving poor service at "wholesale" suppliers. However when I went to Industrial Plastic today Nelson treated my like my cousin. Great friendly service and they had what I needed in stock. Quick and professional, and I will recommend to all my friends. Thanks Nelson

I was recommended to Industrial Plastics by a friend and when I went there I met with Nelson, who really helped me out and (with Angel) made my complicated project turn out perfectly! And for less than half the price of the competition! Very nice people, and I am very indebted to the skill and professionalism of both Nelson in the front and Angel in the back. I am recommending Industrial Plastics (and especially Nelson & Angel) to everyone who needs acrylics or any other plastic products!

I was having trouble navigating and adding to my cart online. I called, they picked up and I was transferred to Jesse. This guy really knows his stuff!!! He immediately, knew what type of plastic I was looking for and helped me walk me through adding to my online cart. Their level of service is second to none!! I will definitely be buying more from Industrial Plastic Supply.

They are the best. They can cut to size, and machine what you need. If they don't have it in stock they will get it for you.
Walk-ins are welcome. The staff is very helpful.
Hi Samir, if the acrylic is flame polished, applying any cleaners with ammonia can cause crazing. Crazing are fine lines in or on the surface as a response to the environment. It is important to note that these fine lines cannot be felt by running your fingernail across it. The best recommendation would be to use mild soap and water to clean it. Also, using a soft cloth will aid in not scratching the surface.
Hi Royston, the polarization of a material is done with a coating after the part has been formed or cut to shape. Most sunglasses are thermoformed to shape, or injection molded to size. After this is done, a thin film coating is applied. Unfortunately, we do not supply this film coating. Large companies like Corning are famous for doing this coating - see here: https://www.corning.com/worldwide/en/products/advanced-optics/product-materials/specialty-glass-and-glass-ceramics/ophthalmic-glass/polar-coat.html or https://www.rp-photonics.com/thin_film_polarizers.html I hope this helps. Thanks for a great question.
