Hello, my neighbor's dogs have been barking every night and I wake up in the middle of night because of the noise. I have talked to my neighbor but he didn't do anything. What should I do? If I file a compliant what evidences should I have?

You should probably talk to your neighbor. But welcome to Oakland. Where dogs bark

Call the police non emergency number or animal control. Record the noise with your phone if you have a smartphone and note the time. People that leave their dogs outside all the time with no interaction have noisy dogs, usually from dog boredom :( If the officers can get there to witness the noise themselves you have less Sneed to document. Glad to see you first attempted to address this with your neighbor.

Warn your neighbor and ask what you can do to help him out. If you report him while it's happening the police will have a reason and sample of what's happening. Best to go to the neighbor 1st because you don't want to start a problem with him. Maybe he needs help with finding the dogs new homes.
