When I ready, I'll look to adopt from Hopalong again. We adopted our Buddy years ago when he was eight years old. He went to doggy heaven 12/22/21 at age 17.

Foster puppy and my own pup adopted 3 years ago from Hopalong. Very supportive team, always on hand for a call or to lend advice. #adoptdontshop

The director,ms Boyd, very unprofessional. Her word is a lie. I rescued a beigal female dog,and sounds like corruption from Ms Boyd. Promised me that I couls see the dog a last time to make sure she was fine.

We adopted our puppy from Hopalong in January 2020. She was fostered by Tina who is absolutely hands down the greatest foster any dog could have. I am floored by any negative comments. She IS picky about potential adopters and for very good reason. There are so many people out there that should never have a dog. She has a keen eye for choosing the right person. She has hand raised many puppies that were dumped that were literally days old and raised them to be amazing dogs. She is absolutely incredibly caring, and nurturing and wants the best for every dog. Her own dog has been the nanny to all the puppies and dogs she has fostered. I cannot say enough great things about this organization. They are incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful foster mom.

You can call Alex Sanchez at Hopalong or you can take it to the feral cat foundation. Look up feral cat Bay area.
No, we are a cat and dog rescue. For ducks, contact a wildlife rescue or animal control.
Not at this time. We do get them occasionally, so please check the Adopt page on our website from time to time. We have an updated list of our adoptable animals on there, each with photos and a profile.
No, Hopalong is a cat and dog rescue. Oakland Animal Services and House Rabbit Society both have rabbits though.
