Em I able to cross the border with 1 active California misdemeanor warrant? Reason I haven't taken care of that warrant is because I have court for another case and dont want to miss that court date since its in a week. BTW I am a citizen

Update on my own question; So I decided to go and I was shocked my California bench warrant didn't come up, but an Arizona one did 😬 I was asked to go to secondary inspection. An officer said because it was a misdemeanor warrant more than likely I wasn't going to get arrested. He said he would need to take me to the security office, get my fingerprints and they would call Arizona as part of the procedure. I was in the security section for about 20minutes. I was fingerprinted, picture taken and just waited while they called Arizona. I appreciate all the personnel for being nice to me and explaining exactly what was going to happen. I was handcuffed when I got out of my car until we got to the security office so a bit embarrassing but I went knowing and preparing to go to jail just in case. 20mins in the security office definitely beats jail. I'm sure if it was for a more serious crime the outcome would of been different.

This should not be an issue at all but if there's an active detain warrant for you, then yes they will. For a misdemeanor, this is not going to happen.

I think US Customs may arrest you when you reenter the US.

Flee the states to Mexico all you want friend! They only run your name for US purposes on the USA side of the border, however at this point you could be detained or otherwise questioned about warrants.
