We were traveling to Tijuana, Mexico for a medical procedure and our driver back into the states was very professional. Key was him having the medical pass, which saved us literally hours at the border in the morning coming back across. The border agents were very professional and if you're patient, this process goes pretty smoothly (just slow). There are a lot of vendors as you wait if you missed buying any last minute gifts.

Friendly service by the agent who helped us. The only complaint I have is the long wait time and leading up to the border there were people touching and banging on our car’s windows trying to get us to buy something or donate money.

To be honest lines are getting worse. I don't cross much but I have never had any problems or long wait times either by car or walking but this time I did. I spent 2.30 hrs in line by foot so I lost my flight. The big Problem is that a lot people Cut in front & NO Authority is watching. So the line & wait time gets longer. It is Not Fair to those who actually get in line !

Having Sentri makes going through the border a 30 minute process. If you do not have this, count on being at the border for 2 to 3 hours. Parking on the US side may save you a couple of hours, walking across usually takes about an hour.

Yes but they will just warn you most likely. The old man at the border walking in will charge you $20. If you don’t pay him, he will return you back to the United States. Always make sure to keep cash on you when entering México as money makes the dog dance in México
I'm not sure how they are doing things recently but a couple of months ago I crossed and they made me buy a 6 month visa ($30) even though I told them I was on a day trip. Most of the time they let me cross without buying it so I wouldn't bring it up.
Thanks Henry. I lived for 2 years in Roarito back in late 90's ..but So much has changed
Yes. They cost you 50 cents at the little shopping center next to the trolley station.
There tags of being sprayed and neutered
Non at all for US Citizens
You can bring a passport card that's what one of my friends took if they are a U.S. Citizen
Go to https://www.bop.gov/mobile/find_inmate/ And look him up it may take a day or 2 for him to come up but it'll tell you where he is
It's been long up until the evening time about 7 or 8. I would guess like an hour.
PedEast.
It was open yesterday. There is always the Mesa de otay Sentri lane
It is difficult for someone to give you information with the phone #, I suggest you try to find the person you are looking for at a Mc Donalds or Jack in the box, which are here on the San Isidro line.
The International Border is open 24/7 unless The US President closes the border for Emergencies.
