Call them, but animal control would take it
Only one way to find out...call them. If they don't there are things you could still do, ask them if they know anyone that could use it, or post what you have available on bulletin board (at grocery store, church, Craigslist)
If its dry food then maybe but im sure they have to be selective about that, donations are great but they dont want to get the dogs sick, i would call and ask but if have my doubts
