Its always like that! Every shelter dose that Methuen is a non-kill and gorgeous they truly take care of all animals no matter what! so they want the older cats adopted first! I do get it if your heart wants a cat adopt one that's not a kitten you'll save innocent cats that people move cant take with them and a lot are young still, and trained and are lovely they are cheaper but i don't think it should matter i hope this helps somewhat any other questions let me no Kristina
Hi Judith. I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced so much loss in recent months. Our senior cat fee waived adoption event concluded last week, but we still have a number of older cats awaiting homes, and the adoption fee for cats age 12+ is reduced. I hope you'll come in to meet some of them. Please accept our condolences for you loss.
i SAW ON LINE TODAY cATS- NO FEES . I WANT ONE PLEASE WHAT ABOUT THE STRAY CATS? ONE OF THEM WOULD HAVE A GOOD NOME HERE. i CAN'T AFFORD TO ADOPT AS i OWE wOBURN hOSPITAL &8000.00
I believe the promotion was only for the month of July but the senior cats still cost significantly less compared to younger ones. It says $50 on the website.
I don't know and don't work there, but last time I been there looking for a cat the older cats are less than the young ones might be the same everywhere have no idea now
