I asked if I could have another type of pasta with my chicken parm instead of spaghetti. It's a texture thing, I don't like spaghetti. My server asked the chef and he said no. Rather rude I thought

Hey John, Based on our 2 posative experiences at The Rosa I'de venture that such a rude response was the result of miscommunication between your server and the chef. Skip the tip: That could prevent another future mixup ! Ralph

I'm surprised. I would think they would normally have changed it. What did you want ..rigatoni..noodles or linguini rather than spaghetti? Funny that they didn't. I've never had any problems. I wouldn't say it's rude..but if you weren't happy..order something else.

Hi John, I'm not sure when you would have been in, requests like this are a common thing and are always granted. If it was a server issue, my apologies. The chef has no problem swapping out pastas for any particular dish. If it was a request for a pasta we do not carry, then that would be one thing, and perhaps a miscommunication?

This is normal for higher end resturants. Professional chefs specially craft the menu which includes pasta type. Speghetti was choosen specifically for taste, texture and plating. The food at The Rosa is always excellent in my option. I would recommend ordering a different dish rather then insulting the chef. I hope you enjoyed your meal.

Really, we have been happy there and have never jad problems with requests.
