Try to take the cat to Pet Alliance.
They have a drop off procedure but there's a fee involved. I would try contacting Animal Control or a local TNR group ( trap-neuter-release)

Like the others have said, call them, they most likely will come and pick up the cat for you as an abandoned pet.
