This place is a scam, definitely get a lawyer. Got a robo-dial from a Florida number with what was obviously a tax scam (the ones where they robo-dial tons of trusting people with a lot of back taxes in hopes that NAT Tax Experts can steal from them). Accepting the prompts took me to a call center in Texas, after pretending to be an elderly man with a lot of back taxes I was directed to the Glendale number for National Tax Experts - and a case manager John Gonzalez. John offered to make my back taxes "disappear" if I sent them money. After a bit of back and forth I gathered enough information to file all the reports necessary with the FTC, BBB, and other appropriate authorities. Once I revealed I wasn't a scammable old man John got aggressive - calling me slurs and talking about the presidential election and Biden. Eventually John's boss Bill came on the line, laughed and admitted this was a scam, then blocked my number.
Did someone get back to you?
Depends on your situation it can take up to a year to get anything settled for you with the Irs I don't know why they won't call you though and just give you an update
I will contact the director of operations, and he will contact you on Monday. With the tax season just barely coming to a close, I'm sure they are simply busy tying up loose ends. They are dealing with the IRS, and we all know how fast they move. A lot of what National Tax Experts does is wait for answers from them. Frustrating, I know. So do you. But, I have used them, and been in your position, and I have no doubt they will take care of you as soon as they are able.
