Lots of bug nests, spiders, they don't clean the meat grilling areas, lots of cobwebs, 😨 aaaa! And they let many dogs get into the lake 🤮 But it would be nice if they gave more maintenance and supervision to the lake 👍
Yes there is plenty of room for the boaters, fishers, and calmer kayakers.

Yes, there is room for quiet kayakers in the lake. There are also two smaller bodies of water there, but I'm not sure if kayaking is/is not allowed. I don't know about how safe kayaking in the canal is. There is a dam in the canal not far before it gets to the lake. The current where the canal meets the lake looks a bit iffy. There are also a lot of mosquitos along the canal closer to the dam.
When we went, there is a small area ropes off for swimmers, lake is big enough for both boaters and kayaks. Mostly other boats were fishing. We had the kayaks out but we also went to other side of lake to play with our jetboat.
The canals and lake would be good and safe for kayakers. We often that the pontoon boat out. There are water skiers at times. I wouldn't go as too far up or down the canals but it is big enough.
Yes, there is room around the islands. The cannal leading out has a strong current so watch out. But I kayak scooteney all the time
