Great hiking trails. Some trails lead to the beach / ocean. Plenty of free parking. Bike riding, walking, running, camping area near by, some caves a long the way, ect.

Good trailhead to access both crystal cove backcountry trails and oc parks laguna coast wilderness trails. Many directions to take. Plenty of hiking opportunities into different trails, wide paths for easy strolling to single track rugged trails . Always a good spot to start.

A very cool place for a resident of a huge city. One of the few places where you really feel clean air, you can come here even just to breathe. A huge territory, for the most part still a forest, not a park, but at the same time very well-groomed. It can be seen that the locals love it very much, there is some special atmosphere there: people walk with whole families, there are many skiers, while no one interferes with each other.

This was a beautiful hike! I was here today (2/19/22). I parked on Ridge Park Rd and started at Bommer Ridge Trail to Boat Rd Trail to see the ocean. It was a total of 10.62 miles with 11 climbs. The trail is well marked and wide. It was a nice warm day. I was able to see the aftermath of the Emerald Fire. There were a lot of people at the beginning of the trail, but the deeper you go in, the fewer people you see. I will definitely be back here again. Happy Hiking!

Yes
I don't don't think so.
No, it would not be good for a stroller.
This trail is steep at certain sections and pretty uneven at some points, not recommended for stroller.
I don't believe they are and it's for their own good, I've encountered coyotes early in the morning. One time a pack of three. They seem to respect and fear humans but may attack a dog.
No they're not :\
They're open. Probably just pretty muddy
Not that I am aware of but can check the website.
