Heritage Park is a beautiful place that overlooks Dana Point Harbor I take my dog there in the evenings plays with other dogs it's it's a gorgeous place worth going to

Beautiful park!! There is a longer, meandering trail or a more straight forward stair path. Each level up gets you a better view. Benches on the upper level. Park on the lower level near the harbor, (where I also found public restrooms) or on the upper level in the neighborhood. Small grassy dog fun zone. *Photo is of the cross streets for parking on the upper level- google maps didn't get me there.
