When we walked in the atmosphere felt like everyone knew each other and we was the outsiders. Our server, Peyton was not a talkative person she did ask all the questions a server ask and nothing more. My husband and I had wings for a appetizer and they was very meaty with a tangy sauce. I had the New York steak and it was amazing it melted in your mouth and had good flavoring. My husband had crab cakes and he said they was good but more filler than meat. The sauté vegetable medley was delicious but the mashed potatoes was stiff and lumpy. If anybody knows what southern tea taste like or suppose to taste this was it.

We rode the Virginia Capital Trail from Chickahominy Riverfront Park and had lunch+draft at Culs before heading back. I was asked to take this alpaca by the leash while his pen was being assembled - I really wanted to get a pic of him wearing my bike helmet. Was my first time having fried green tomatoes (give them at least 5min to cool). The homemade bread and potato chips are stellar. Colonial Williamsburg's Merchants Square is a cookie cutter tourist trap. Culs is authentic people and food, with some really high end bikes rolling around.

1 of the BEST places we have ever been in...& we found it by accident!! Be sure to get the soup & oysters!! The staff are fabulous also!! Can't wait to go back!!

Great little, homey place to stop for a bite to eat. Especially when you are out hiking or biking to Virginia Capital Trail. Plenty of parking both at the restaurant and across the street in the Charles City rest stop. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is very good. During my stop there was a representative from the alpaca farm across the road.

We would like to have lunch at Culs on Monday, November 2 for my birthday. Are you open on Mondays and do you have dining inside and out? Thanks! Always enjoy visiting your grille. We live in Suffolk, so it's a bit out of the way if you're not open.
There are none, you have to go to Williamsburg or bottoms bridge in New Kent county. A good place in Williamsburg is called Victoria they open at 7 a.m. it's located at route 5 and 199. There's one place in Providence forge it's name is Patsy's.
