They might be able to make an exception if you explain to them at the reception desk that the others are working or out of state. I mean seriously, it would be quite unfair of them to deny you the opportunity to give this poor kitty a loving family and a forever home simply because the rest of your family members are unavailable at this time to come visit the shelter. Not even god would view such selfishness with favor.

You need to speak to them about that. These days humane society is more strict then before. That's why I get my pets off the streets. Well, to be completely honest, they come to us🤣😂
