If you were born in Nebraska then you're a US citizen. If you're not a US citizen you can't get a US passport.

Are you a true American, because the US government does not consider us citizens of our own country unless at least one of our parents was a citizen at our births. If this is your case, check with your Chief's office. You can use your Native Travel ID to apply for a passport with your Nation - which may be one of those considered to have dual citizenship as well.
