You should bring your messed up ballot to exchange it for a new blank ballot at the vote center or your precinct on election day. Same as on election day, if you mess up, don't cross it out, exchange the ballot.

Great question. City Hall Voting Center is open Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm Sat and Sun 10am to 4pm Use Grove Street Entrance and, Election Day 7am to 8pm And thank you for Voting.
