I don't recommend it.

I think totally agree with everyone option.

Not a good trail for toddlers, incline to steep.

Francisco Torres | Aug 20, 2018

I wouldn't recommend bringing toddlers since there a good amount of incline and it can get hot with very little to no shade available.

The beginning is the hardest. If you decide to stay on the right side of the trail it's nothing but incline. If you go to the left (Mariposa Trail) it's way easier just very narrow.

Some parts of this trail aren't shady, and it can get very warm, but as long as you don't cross the street it should be fine. I recommend taking a rest by the gate midway through. Also, go on a cooler day and bring plenty of water and some snacks. Just a warning - parking is tricky here so while the trail is nice, you may have to park far away and walk a while to the actual trail.
