Yep. About $100 per day for less than 40 people. It is about 70$ for 2 hours, then additional charge per hour after that. They have preferred vendors too. Be sure to stop by the san marcos civic cwnter to take a look at their maps and information because it is not all available on line. Their book does a much better job of explaining layout and amenities.
I did reserved it a while back so I think cost $100 for per day. If you need to reserve then better reserve ahead of time. Popular to reserve the large cover picnic area than other smaller picnic table.
Yep, there is a large covered picnic area by the upper softball and soccer fields that you can reserve with the city of San Marcos.
