We used the upper baseball/softball field at the east end of the park for some youth practice. The kids had fun. The fields are maintained well enough for the off season but would need some watering and weeding for regular season play. The infield was dried out and the outfield was weeded over. Nothing that can't be fixed, but the drought no doubt is a big part of the maintainece issues.

This is a beautiful and quiet park that's great to take your children to. And the neighborhood around it is nice and quiet as well. 👍🏾 San Elijo is a great community to raise children.

Awesome park for younger kids. Plenty of climbing and slides. There are no swings and the restrooms are further up by the softball fields. The splash pad was awesome.

Yep. About $100 per day for less than 40 people. It is about 70$ for 2 hours, then additional charge per hour after that. They have preferred vendors too. Be sure to stop by the san marcos civic cwnter to take a look at their maps and information because it is not all available on line. Their book does a much better job of explaining layout and amenities.
It's not really set up to do dance unless you just want to do it on the open grass
