I am purchasing a hand gun from a family member in Texas. It is a Glock 48. Can he mail the gun to me? Can I bring it to my local Turner's store and have it changed from his name to mine? Is there paperwork he needs to fill out or sign? Thank You,

Get with Turners, before anything is shipped, they will guide you through the process

It has to be done by his local gun store to the Turners gun store . There is a fee , if he sends it direct, it may get confiscated .

If I were you I'd talk to Turner's before he mails it . You will have to pay a filing fee for use of their gun dealer's license. Then do firearm written test & background. They may just have him send it directly to them . Also they're going to confirm it's not stolen . Good luck

I'm not positive but I thi k it has to be sent to a ffl like Turner you do a background check after the time of 14 days you pick it up.
