It sounds like the milk might be caking in the nipple that is swollen. That's not good, and it's also painful. It can be helped if she receives treatment quickly. Regal vets are great. You shouldn't wait to get her treatment.

Regal veterinary clinic did a good job when my dog got dermatitis . He was seeing right away and the doctor was kind . I would take her to see a doctor right away she is just giving birth and her health is very important . For she is nursing and it must be very painful.imagine if that was you?
