I will be on Catilina Nov. 17 th and am looking for a whale watch that leaves from there. I have been told there won't be any whales that time of year is that correct? Thanks.

I don't know about that time, but when we went on it in Aug. We didn't see any but did see a huge pod of dolphin

Im not sure thats true. I was told there are certain whales that have to pass thru this area around that time to migrate. Plus they love to be out in the cold as opposed to the heat.

We went during whale watching season and only saw one out in thr distance not up close. We saw lots of dolphins which was nice. Since you are going out of season your chances of seeing a whale will be pretty low.
