Where is the closest place to stay

Hi, you can stay at the south rim. There are some hotels very close / direct with view at canyon . The north rim has not the variety of hotels as the south rim does. If you want to stay at a moderate price you should choose the Maswik South Lodge. The price was about 130 Dollars per night in July / August. It is a 5 min walk to the rim with the great view over the incredible canyon an the best starting point to Hermits Rest with the free bus tour and the best photo spots of the world... The South Maswik lodge is cheaper than the Maswik North Lodge because there is not A/C in the rooms. The rooms fits up to 5 People with additional rollaway bed. All other hotels are much expensiver like the El Tovar witch a directly or a little bit closer at the rim. In my opinion it's not worth the price of over 200-300 bucks per night. The Maswik South with its wooden Charme look absolutely great. ->somwhere in the Grand Canyon Village ist the best place stay - but be aware - early booking!! Gr

We drove from Sedona about 2 hours. We were touristing🗻🚗 definitely accommodations much closer. Memorable visit👍
