Has anyone else not been given notice then had a membership fee come our of their account unexpectedly? I'm beyond angry as my account has been overdrawn. Called local gym and was pretty much told tough luck. So for 2 months membership I've paid 60

Just got off the phone cause they did the same thing to me! When i signed up they told after the 3rd month there would be a ONE time fee of $40 sign up fee. They put my acciunt ok n hold twice due to illness and still withdrew the monthly fee aftwr telling me it wouldnt be taken out and overdrawing me so their $20 payment cost me $45 each time. Their whole attitude toward their members is tough luck.....poorest excuse for a company ive ever seen!!!! I know my whole family and ring of friends are cancelling their membership.

I will be starting a lawsuit. It would be cheaper for them to just pay me back but being an attorney is fun sometimes.

They didn't notify me as well-but they sure found a way to text me and let me know that my account was insufficient and that I needed to call right away to get it resolved -have never been there because of health issues which I could have proved-i called my local store to speak with the manager Erica about it and was told by the girl that answered the phone that she was too busy to speak with me..very poor customer service -will be telling everyone on FB and Twitter not to bother coming to this dump!!😒

Girl they keep constantly hitting my account over and over again and Im like Yall not giving me back the 35 dollars they keep charging me. I didnt receive a notice or anything either that they were deducting! Im cancelling my membership! I'll work out in my house for FREE!

This isn’t fair to any of us The same exact thing has happened to me. Recently I went in to work out and they told me that there was a hold on my acct and that there has been a hold since October in which I knew absolutely nothing about. And they declined me to come in and work out. I’m trying to figure out how in the world am I not permitted to come in and work out but withdraws are still coming out as if I am??? Something isn’t right!!!! And I will get down to the bottom of it!!!! This is completely unacceptable and not right!

My contract ended with planet fitness, last year... this year, I’d noticed that they were taking funds out of my account this year. I called to complain... they said that I had to physically come in and cancel... not sure why when the contract was only for a year... so now I’m in the process of disputing charges and writing letters to planet fitness in Ferguson MO and yo the corporate office...

I had the same thing, they are crooks!! They attempted multiple times to get a measly 10$! I went in person to cancel an was treated horribly by their assist. manager. Best thing to do is cancel your debit card, or they will keep trying to rob you!!

omg happened to me too was told my membership was $24 a mo th then just had a eandom $42 charge

I know in the paperwork I signed when signing up, it mentioned a yearly fee. Maybe that's what it was?
