Join the club! Worst customer service ever... I'd suggest writting a letter to your local BBB.
I have tried to cancel it over the phone. I don't have a car yet they want me to come in to cancel or get a f×÷@ing certified letter wth? I don't have a car to do either.

They call themselves a “no judgment zone” and yet have workout clothes requirements such as no cutoffs or tank tops?? I called to ask why and was told they wanted people to feel comfortable and didn’t want anyone to feel intimidated. Really, you mean like intimidated by people who grind and have noticeable muscles?? Huh? How is that not judgmental? So it’s okay to not be judgmental of people who don’t work out regularly but okay to judge people who noticeably do????
Yes they have been doing the same thing to my daughter, the yearly fee comes out sooner than a year and they keep saying problem with payment and sticking her with a $10 late fee. On top of that her father passed away and she hasn't been able to go in months, so I called, they won't refund anything. They won't cancel unless she sends a certified letter. She works like crazy! It's just WRONG!! Worst rude customer service ever!! It's easier to get out of a marriage than a planet fitness membership!!
Planet fitness has had thefts including a vehicle. Staff members have been made aware and did nothing. Terrible business. Cancel membership/ Do not join!
