No he does not
This is a claim that many people have thoroughly abused. What Bill has correctly stated on multiple occasions is that Jesus was born to Mary, as a baby. Then He was crucified and resurrected from the dead. Colossians 1:18 refers to this as Jesus being the "firstborn from the dead", which can of course be seen as being born another time, or "again". He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. COLOSSIANS 1:18 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/col.1.18.NASB Technically, Colossians 1:15 also calls Him "the firstborn of all creation", so you can easily find three separate occasions when Jesus was born, in one way or another. This is different from what most people mean when they talk about someone being "born again", but that doesn't make it untrue.
Jesus was stripped of his devine powers when he was born in to human hood but got it back when the holy spirit so he could be an example of the suffering humble Messiah and also to show us christian on how we should follow his example becoming the newborn/reinstatrd as Gods sons and daughters in Jesus the new adam. That is what I can remember him teaching.. Jesus has always been without sin and fully God and fully man.. but the powers of devinity was originially stripped from him untill the dows decent at his Baptism by John the baptist.
Jesus said, you must be born again, in John chapter 3. Bill would not miss quote or or turn the scriptures around like that. But thanks for asking. Ye must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven is a foundation of the christin faith. Jesus died so that we can be born again. It's because of his death that we have access to heaven.
