Great place for the family to have a picnic or just a little playtime for the kids. Wooden roofed shelters water way cooler in the Redding heat than the metal roofed shelters at some other local parks. Small enough to be able to keep your eyes on the kids but big enough to let the kids scatter out to the many options to play.

Great play structures, and large shaded sitting area. Playground structures are not sufficiently shaded, so all components are too hot for children, even in April.

My kids and I really like this park. There is a bigger play area for the bigger kiddos, and a smaller playground for the smaller tots. Swing sets, basketball hoops, and a wall for hand ball, as well as lots of grass to run on if that's what tickles your wookie.

Clean and good equipment. This is the only park in town where I do not see an abundance of transients. Feel like it is a safe place for my daughter to play.
