Cute park with 2 different playgrounds, a skate park, and there's the aquatic center right in the middle of it. It's right by the river, and has lots of space so it's not usually crowded. Definitely would recommend

Great little park with a little bit of everything. Jump bike trail. 2 skate parks now, pumptrack, public pool with waterside and right on the river. A nice jump trail for bikes going to be built soon as well

There are a lot of homeless around the area but is a great place to hang out with a group of people (for protection) it's got a good soccer field, playground, biking area and skating area.

We spent some time walking around in the park. It's a lovely park and there are quite a few paved walkways which is not very common where I live. You can walk along the Sacramento river. We noticed some children's play structures and picnic tables as well. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

They have tables. No bbq spits. You can make reservations but I don't think it's necessary.
Yes but on a leash. Of course if you have a well behaved n trained dog being off leash wont be a problem
Its the river, you can get in bit its cold. There is no camping, camp Caldwell is just a day program for kids. There is also the aquatic center, a pool, to swim in.
Yes..be careful.going in them tho..stay alert.of your surroundings.
No fishing within 200ft up or down stream of the fish viewing aera / ladder @ Caldwell Park
I posted some pic under cadwell park that have different spots to reserve/rent there and info to contact them. Hope it helps. The Redding parks and rec office due all rentals in redding in parks etc..
