We are staying one night at the lodge inside the Grand Canyon. You suggests that visitors park their car in Tusayan, and take shuttle to the Grand Canyon due to traffic jam. But, Is it safe to park cars there over night without drivers presence?

It's pretty safe either way, however I Highly recommend you shuttle it. So much time is wasted waiting while driving inside the park. Oh man it's a pain during this construction period. Totally shuttle it. You won't regret it.

Just a fellow traveler, but I would park in the park for the night, not shuttle in. There are traffic issues at peak times, but 15 to 20 min issues, not hours...

I agree with the shuttle due to the road work And we had no problem With leaving The vehicle Not attended
