We saw a couple of police along the route. When you pay to get in the park its automated
Saw check points New Mexico.
I want to know if some body drives from Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon saw any check point, because I have a family member who is illegal and I don't want to put in risk
It is better to be safe to avoid disappointments before entering as the park rangers check for the valid park passes.
No papers needed.... But, the gas station last on the route before getting to the grand canyon. There i saw my first HILL BILLY TROUT DOG.... Never seen one before, he was quite the full version of a DUSHBAG 100%........ Harmless but, Shit Stein in deed..
I guess the level of safety depends what "legal papers" you refer to... But I was there for a few days without even seeing any law enforcement other than the rangers sometimes at the park entrances checking for park passes.
