Whiting is likely to be closed for weeks. There's a lot of water damage to the trails. The rangers are asking for the publics help with trail maintenance. Please respect the closed trails! Update 3/17/19: Whiting is now partially open.

Depends on the weather. They always close the trail heads when is been raining. But that doesn't stop dihard hikers from still going hiking.
