Maybe they were having a bad day themselves. I try to ask how their day is going so far for them first. Ask how long they have been doing their job, what they like about it, even what they don't like. You might be surprised by their answer.... Treet them like your friends treet you, even better! A smile 😃 goes a long ways these days!

I wouldn't let one bad cashier deter you from going back. I've been shopping there for 26 years and have run into many bad ones. I just avoid them when I check-out. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. It's usually a great place to shop.
