Winco in Happy Valley has made it impossible to shop for anything. Isles are blocked with pallets! Loud buzzers going off constantly. They are so worried about theft that true money spending customers can’t spend money there. I use to spend hundred a week there and now exclusively shop at Fred Meyers, I pay a bit more but at least I can freely shop. With the $$$ you’re losing you could afford a full time security officer if that is the chief concern.

We're visiting from Salem due to a family emergency and needed a few comfort items that we forgot to buy earlier in the day. I was delighted to find that WinCo was nearby and open 24 hours a day. I make my way there at 2:30ish in the morning and find most of the isles I need blocked off for the overnight hours. I figured I'd just get what I could but the overnight stocking crew seemed to have little to no consideration for shoppers. I have stocked retail shelves and it's a lot more difficult with customers around. But, the store is open, they should at least leave room to walk without stepping over stuff. I left without anything once I realized that there was only one cashier and a long line. Basically, I feel they should just close between like midnight and 5. Concentrate on stocking and open the whole store in the morning. It is a real mess at night. All that said, we love WinCo and shop our Salem location regularly and will continue to do so. But WinCo could do better than the way this store is at night. Being open 24 hours isn't worth it when a store ends up just disappointing and upsetting a loyal customer.

As far as local grocery stores go, Winco is my top pick for prices and selection. As far as local Wincos go, this is probably my #1. Has a bakery, one of the larger stores with a lot of selection, and the checkout lines never seem to be as bad as other places. Walk in beer cooler is nice. I shop most at 82nd and Powell just because it's on the way home but this store is far better.

They stopped selling feminine hygiene products from 11pm to 7am. If you are a person who needs those, winco banned you during those hours. I hope you planned ahead because they will not help you. There are pallets blocking the aisles intentionally. Thanks for no discrimination, winco. You messed up. Half our population can't get their needs at night. Guess you just expect girls to Bleed everywhere. Bad job. I'll be avoiding shopping here, and I haven't had certain restaurants food in years. You lost us. Hit me up when you stop screwing up.

I don't believe they have delivery. Only online grocery order that you have to pick up.

Face masks are required and provided if needed. Hand sanitizer is available in liquid and wipe form. Social distancing remainders are announced over the intercom frequently. Appropriate distancing is required at all check-out lines
You can make your own sanitizer. 2 cups 91% alcohol. One cup aloe vera gel. Mix. Made some for the house works really well!!!

It will vary how many eggs you are wanting. I get the 6 package, I am not sure of the price, but are a little less expensive than the average of other stores,I shop at WINCO'S a lot ,

Maybe they were having a bad day themselves. I try to ask how their day is going so far for them first. Ask how long they have been doing their job, what they like about it, even what they don't like. You might be surprised by their answer.... Treet them like your friends treet you, even better! A smile 😃 goes a long ways these days!

If you have cash on your EBT card then yes they will give you cash back up to $200 though but if you only have food stamps then no they will not give you any cash for your food stamps

They do. It's covered so you won't get rained on. I'd call ahead and ask what the max return limit for each day is, if they have one.
