Are bears still active at Cades Cove?

While I did not see any but I was there in October but I do believe they are still very active due to the fact that2 week. Before I went down to Gatlinburg went up into the sugar Land's end to the Smoky mountains guided mountain trip I was hearing all kinds of bears out and about and present in Gatlinburgand I loved my trip it was wonderful so have a great time in the Smoky mountains national Park and then the

Yes they are ..saw 3 sets of bears ..one crossed the road in front of the vehicle ahead of me

From what I've heard yes. I haven't been back since to say for sure though

A few are all the females should be dened up by now though.
