My kids had so much fun!!! The drive was long but overall great experience. Their bathrooms need to be checked on more often. They have a really nice changing table for my younger one great play areas for my 5 year old just wish it was more toddler friendly here. Prices are a bit up there but overall friendly staff just wish the interacting with their customers more. The update features of the building are nice just wish I caught one of the shows to have a full experience. But no major complaints would definitely go again.

Cost was a little high at $113 for two adults and a kid. That was after taxes with a triple A discount. The aquarium was awesome though! We all loved the tunnels. It was great to view the fish and sharks from above and below. The jellyfish were mesmerizing and the penguins were so cute! It was one of my daughter's favorite places we visited.

Highly recommend the glass boat tour! It is an extra add on to your ticket, but it was so cool to be above them! They also tell you all about the different sharks and fish that are in the tank! Going through the tunnel was such an amazing experience!
There was a diving show in the stingray tank! You can pet and even feed the stingrays! They also have a cute penguin playground!

Very entertaining and informative! Kids love the various sea life which are on the odd side. There was a mermaid show which was different. The place is like a cyclone in shape with use of every corner. Jellyfish petting and the adorable penguin parade were two of my highlights, and my son loved the multilevel playground!
Yes its very handicap essisible Ramps inside and outside of Aquarium are wide and you just need a little extra strength getting up those ramps but its not too bad even the parking structure is handicapped essisible with ramps and elevators
It can get very dark. Im not sure if they have any guides who can tour with you and describe the exhibits but there are definitely exhibits which would be fun with a visual impairment like the touch tanks.
It is a family oriented attraction, so I am sure you can find a spot that your comfortable with to feed your baby. I wish we lived in a society that didn't have issues with a mother feeding her baby. Have fun and enjoy showing your little one new things at the aquarium. :)
Amazing. My daughter stated that the place was super amazing, excellent and she rated the place as above excellent. For me as a mom it a place to visit with kids
Per their website,
Wheelchairs are available free of charge at our Guest Services counter on a first come first serve basis. Valid ID required. Aquarium will hold ID until wheelchair is returned.
Yes there are multiple tanks. There is a big fish tank with plexiglass tub the runs throught it. It has sharks in it. The is another fish tank that is about 20 feet high and about 50 feet long full of just fish. Also alot smaller one too.
You can go to the visitor centers and usually pick up some coupons even hotels in Jiffy stores have the little pamphlets Groupon sometimes has a good deal
From the aquarium almost everything in town is walkable. There is the Ripley's odditorium as well as the Guinness world records exhibit and about a dozen candy shops. Keep in mind that none of the attractions are geared towards children of that age but entrance fees for people under 4 are generally free.
Hey Sara. Note I am not an employee (as Google Maps' info is maintained quite a bit by contributors like you and I). I recommend checking out their website for additional questions found in Ripley's Aquarium FAQ (you can't miss it as it's one of the first options on their site).
According to their FAQ "What types of discounts do you have available?": "AAA, AARP, Active Military, Retired Military."
It a different price depending how many attractions you buy with the aquarium pass. We did the aquarium + 2. That was $49.99 per adult and $34.99 per child (aged 3 - 11).
Yes it is the workers take time to help if needed with anything and they make sure you get to see everything and if you need a private showing of something you can ask if they have a quiet room available if your little one needs it. everyone was very pleasant and we had lots of fun!!
Can buses park in the back parking lot if you are not going to Aquarium?

I'm not sure; we were dropped off so we didn't have to worry about parking. Sorry I couldn't help.

Adult, ages 12 & over, is 34.99
Child 6-11 is 17.99
Child 2-5 is 7.99
Children under 2 are free
Above does not include tax, so that will be added. If you buy online, you save $2 on each adult ticket, but add an additional $2 convenience fee per total sales transaction, and then add taxes (it's a single $2 charge for convenience fee added to the total transaction, not per each ticket).
They also have coupons online if you pay for attractions too. For 2 adults and 2 children we only paid $155 for the aquarium and ripleys believe it or not and davey crocket mini golf.
I do not believe they do but if you purchase tickets online and bundle attractions they will be much cheaper. Example- 3 attractions for price of 2 etc
$32.99 Adult
$17.99 Ages 6 - 11
$7.99 Ages 2-5
Under 2 free
Adult tickets save $2 if you buy online. There are also coupons in the area where you find the attraction flyers. Also, my sister was able to get a 30% military discount for her family.
You can get combo tickets at ripleys believe it or not. It is a great deal. We did the aquarium, Guinness book of World records and Believe it or not. You can do mini golf as well.
It's reasonable, but not as an annual visit. To get to the exit visitors are sent through the gift store. It can be a rude zoo of inconsiderate tourists when busy, so go in with a zen attitude. Best visited during the week.
They have SEVERAL coupon book everywhere, plus they have senior and military discounts. Some places even give military discounts even if you have had a relative serve at some time
Adults are 32.99, children ages 6 - 11 are $17.99 and ages 2 - 5 are $7.99. I don't think it matters which day of the week you go, the prices are the same. Check online for discounts. I think ordering tickets online saves money, too.
It honestly depends how long you take to look at each thing. We usually get through in hour- hour and half but if we stop by play land or take longer to look at the fish then a little longer
I'm not sure about the military discounts. Although there is discount pricing when you combine. There is also places that discount as long as you listen to there speech and they may feed you too.
We were just there weekend before last, and they do have wheelchairs but only the kind u push. And FYI the parking deck is a ways from the aquarium. So whomever needs the wheelchair needs to be dropped off at the door before u park.
There were a few kids fishing under the bridge by the aquarium and they pulled out at least four or five trout just in the few minutes we were looking. This was right out front of the aquarium in the stream running parallel with the street. Looked really good to me.
Yeah you park in the parking area maximum they charge for parking is 6 dollars its 1.00 something an he for parking amd then you go pay to get in but other than that yeah you just go on in
There is no free parking at the Acquarium but there is a parking for a fee available across the street. If you are staying I Gatliurg also the trolley may be another option. All day pass for $2.00 or $.50 per ride. The trolleys have many stops across the city and by hotels and goes to the acquarium. Hope this helps.
Depends, if you buy online, you get a discount on tickets (12 and older) $32.99. Kids under 2 are free, ages 2 to 5 I think are $7.99 and 6 to 12 is 17.99, otherwise I think it's like $34.99, $19.99, $9.99 at the door.
We bought online and got to walk right in instead of waiting in a huge line at the door.
No...but they do have mermaid shows and divers. No dolphins or killer whales....nice aquarium. Mostly sharks, one giant sea turtle .... stingrays in the large tank/ tunnel. Lots of smaller exhibits, indoor playground for kids...
Adults 12 and older 32.99, children 6-11 are 17.99, children 2-5 are 7.99, cheaper when bundling with other attractions when doing it on Ripley's aquarium website.
I believe did have a military discount.. Tickets were 34.95 each.. Or 44.95 or close to that price.. which my family purchased because for 10.00 more the 45.00...you get to choose 2 other Ripleys attractions saving you about 30.00 for the 2 other ones...
There is a discount if you buy online. I think for a family of 4 it was about 150 but it was probably one of the best aquariums I've seen in the past 20 years (California has the best)
We got there at 9am when they opened during the week. We went through the entire attraction with very few people. About an hour and a half. It starts to get busy around 11am.
Fish, sharks, penguins, frogs, eels, crabs, ect. It was so amazing and I'm 32 and me and my boyfriend enjoyed so much. Part of the floor moves like an escalator and you ride around on it. Kids play area. It was amazing
We bought a package of 3 activities together and saved 45%. Individual tkts are expensive. I highly recommend going to their website and looking up deals. The activities are flexible, you don't have to spell them out before purchasing abd can be changed on the fly once you arrive there.
You can search on Google for their website and it will tell you admission prices. My husband and I went in June 2017 and we got aquarium tickets plus 2...for each of us (which you can use at any of their other attractions anytime within a year) and it was 96 bucks. Hope my answer helps. We had great time at the aquarium, which was well worth the money!
There were only three of us 2 adults and 1 6 year old child it was $35 per adult and $25 for the child under 3 is free we did not check 4 A family pass
Adults are 32.99 and I think kids are around 20. If you plan on doing several Ripley's attractions, there are package deals you can buy and it saves you money.
They open @ 9am &close at 11friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but Monday thru Thursday they're open till10pm. It's handicap accessible but I don't think they have wheelchairs available to the public.
