The path that goes through Miramont Castle does not allow you to see every room. There is a lot more to that castle than what the public is allowed to visit. There are servants quarters that are off-limits and another staircase that is also off limits. I am sure there is even more that I am not aware of. I read the book that I purchased from the gift shop. It was very interesting and explained the changes of the castle across its history. I definitely recommend reading in the book.
I didn't see it
When you go there they provide a map and explain where everything is. Went there last summer near closing time so we went through quickly. It's very interesting and when approach various "stations" they have a description of the display. There's so many things to see I don't recall the total number of rooms or fireplaces. They will answer questions over the phone. I remember having to wait for the staff member answer someone's questions on the phone.
There are alot of rooms most rooms and lower levels arent open to the public.
