Felt like I couldn't breathe. Not only from the thin air, but also from the views. 5/5 would gasp again. Took the Cog Train up the side of the mountain and got a history lesson on all things Pikes Peak (I would recommend the train). The visitor's center on top is very nice and aesthetically attractive! The donuts everyone raves about were just ok. Definitely make this stop if you are in the area; you will not be disappointed!

Great experience. The staff knew their stuff and were friendly doing it. Yes, if you're not used to high levels of altitude be prepared to feel light headed. Great gift shops, and duh the views. I could touch the clouds, almost.

Was the best experience yet!!!! Would not trade the experience at all. Thank you to my son and daughter-in-law for buying me the train ride up to the top. Photos aren’t the best but sometimes the view is better left unknown.

This was my first time to Pikes Peak and omg 😲 what a stunning park. The views are amazing especially when you get to the top of the peak. We decided to drive up it took us 40 minutes to the top and 40 to go back down. In total 2hrs 20 minutes, that's with pictures and souvenir shopping. I would absolutely encourage doing the drive on your own or by train. If you use your car use a lower gear when going back. Your brakes can get really hot, but the park ranger will check them as you pass back through the entrance. Highly recommended 👌 👍 👏

If you are referring to anywhere along the road to the summit of Pikes Peak then, there is no camping at all.
