It's not to late, but the chances of severe weather become more likely. I would recommend a good GPS map so if it snows you can find your way back. Buy an In reach in case you get in severe trouble. And I also agree with the last post

Hoping to make this an early spring hike. I have micro spikes and poles but really hate a lot of wind and deep snow. Of course I’ll watch weather but realistically what is the earliest month I should look at? March too soon?
Great thanks everyone! We are planning to do it over Thanksgiving but assuming we have the right gear and are smart about weather predictions, it sounds like we should be good to go!
