Tropical Hut can advise you on the best size food for your pet as well.

You would be better off calling the Tropical Hut and asking. In general a snake will not eat a rodent that is much thicker than the thickest part of the snake. Some Snakes prefer Mice, Some prefer Rats. You could feed a Snake smaller (younger) rodents. Better to choose something based on the size of your snake. (We have a Black Milk snake that can eat adult mice, but prefers mouse sized, fuzzy rats. He can't eat an adult rat as it is much bigger around than he is.)

Yes, they will take back and trade feeder rats/mice.
