I have a 5 yr old boxer/American bulldog mix that we have been trying to find a new home but not having any luck wanting him. We are moving and can’t take him. Are there any shelters that will take him and put him up for adoption and not put down?

Contact the SPCA and speak with someone in the surrenders department. If they have space available, they will make an appointment for you to bring your dog in. You will need to bring their shot records and vet history. The SPCA will try to find a home for them.

At that age they will probably try to adopt him out if he is a clean-cut dog and sweet. Call them first they will let you know the info on the phone there really sweet people down there. But I would say yes they would find him a home. Good luck
