good doctor but staff short and no one like to answer the calls. Need a new system to train them how to take care of customer who are calling in.

Today at Banfield Lakeland I had a terrible experience with one of you veterinary techs Megan. I was not given her last name but I can describe her.plus size, Dark hair,Shaved sides, with a bun. I arrived a little late BUT not outside of the grace period that I was told previously by the hospital. I showed up 9 minutes late. The cashier saw me said hi to my dog by name because we are regulars and then I stood in line while she waited on 3 other dogs. I get him weighed sign in and wait another 10-12 minutes. She goes back, comes out and says o can't be seen because it's 1125... but I didn't show up at 1125. Megan comes out and says are you here for Kol ? I say yes and I try to explain to her that I was within the Grace period that I was told and before I can finish she says IM NOT GONNA ARGUE & storms off like a child. Completely rude and unprofessional towards me and very embarrassing!! I was explaining my side and trying to get an understanding, I want yelling or cursing or being irate but I guess maybe she's was intimidated?! Maybe because I'm black?' Maybe because she has anger issues? Whatever the reason SHE SHOULD NOT DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS if she's going to be rude!!!! After she stormed away Desi came out and was very nice she said she was the assistant manager and I expressed how displeased o was with her behavior... I would like to say that if I ever have another experience being talked to like a child I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE and I will complain on every outlet about my experience. Customer service is IMPORTANT and some training obviously needs to happen with Megan immediately!

We love Dr Merkle. She is the only one we let see our puppies. She takes great care of them and doesn’t treat them differently even though they are pit bulls and are supposed to be vicious killing machines.

Every body was wonderful. They show so much compassion towards your pet. They got the knowledge to back it up.

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 17, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
